Almost 15 years after setting up and directing the first Dental Medicine unit in a private hospital, despite several opinions at the time arguing that such a unit made no sense in a hospital, the time has come to pass on the baton and embrace a new professional project — one that is, in fact, the fulfilment of a long-standing dream. Those who know me know that I have always been the one who thinks outside the box, accepts slightly crazy challenges and enjoys doing what has never been done before... And, true to form, here I go again! 😉
Bringing together two of my great passions, Endodontics and Education, I am pleased to introduce the Portuguese Institute of Endodontics, the first clinical centre in Portugal dedicated exclusively to Endodontics. With an excellent team of dentists with specialised training and exclusive clinical practice, we aim to become the clinical extension of every colleague and dental practice that needs support in resolving their greatest Endodontic challenges. At the same time, Team RPCendo will now have its headquarters here, allowing us to continue changing the way colleagues see, practise and master Endodontics... in Lisbon. More news soon!
I cannot, however, fail to offer my heartfelt thanks to all the colleagues, assistants and administrative staff who accompanied us over the years at Hospital CUF Infante Santo. I had the privilege of working with a team that included some of the finest professionals in Portuguese Dental Medicine, who were undoubtedly essential to the standards of clinical excellence that have always been one of my greatest commitments.
