The Portuguese Institute of Endodontics was born out of a 15-year vision—and a glaring gap in the availability of a clinically focused center dedicated solely to Endodontics. We’ve gathered all the structural and technological resources necessary to perform even the most complex procedures in our field. As a specialized clinical center, we treat and save teeth that might otherwise require extraction. Moreover, we operate a training facility equipped for highly detailed, technology-driven endodontic education.

Where Technology and Expertise Converge
Our Institute is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology designed for advanced endodontic excellence: a MORITA X800 high-resolution CBCT scanner, an operating microscope, digital radiography, specialized ultrasonic systems, LCD displays for live case demonstrations, electronic apex locators, and more.
Rui Pereira da Costa, DDS, MSc, PhD, is the Director of the Portuguese Institute of Endodontics. He is a dentist with both a Master’s degree and a doctorate in Endodontics and teaches in postgraduate programs at the University of Lisbon and the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona. He is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in Endodontics and is regularly invited to speak at specialist conferences across Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Colombia, Angola, Dubai, Bahrain, Lebanon, Italy, Hungary, and beyond.
