He graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Porto, completed a Master's Degree in Endodontics at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, and earned a PhD in Sciences with a focus on Endodontics from the Ribeirão Preto School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo.

This commitment to sharing knowledge and education reached one of its most significant milestones with the creation of International Endo Masters, a pioneering online education project that reached dentists in multiple countries and helped broaden access to advanced Endodontics on a global scale.
